Most Expensive Cars To Insure

Car insurance: Expensive. Driving off the sales lot in the ride of your dreams: Priceless. Saving up for the luxury vehicle of one’s choice is a succession of hard work, but when it comes to insurance, some models may put a bigger dent in one’s wallet in comparison to others. A Top 5 list from Economy Watch compiles which kinds of cars are currently the most expensive to insure on the road:     1) Nissan GT-R (average cost of insurance: $ 2,533)     2) Dodge Viper SRT-10 ($2,446)     3) BMW M6 ($2,236)     4) Ford Shelby GT500 ($2,186)     5) Mercedes G-Class ($2,088) Cost of likely repairs, the size and power of each model’s engine, and the way in which the car is driven were all grouped as factors in the report. — Alexandra Christopoulos... Bring Back the ‘Sunday Drive’

Remember when it wasn’t weird to plan a family day around a simple, relaxing drive? Volkswagen Canada does. You can also share your Sunday drive stories online and explore features of the new Golf family of cars. Our world has become incredibly... MORE

Halladay Becomes Pitcher Perfect

Roy “Doc” Halladay finally did it. Halladay, the ex-Jays pitcher, pitched a perfect game. There were no hits, walks or errors surrendered during his 1-0 victory over the Florida Marlins. As one of the best pitchers to ever play in Canada, we all knew he was capable of this. Now, under the massive Philadelphia spotlight, all of North America reveres him as the greatest pitcher in the game. In 1998, his second start ever, he took a no-hitter to the final out against Detroit in the final game of the season. The next batter, star player Bobby Higginson, hit a home run and the bid was exterminated. I was at that game and, as deflating as the feeling of coming so close is, everyone knew they had witnessed something special. Halladay was going places. Places uncharted by a Blue Jay, or even a...
